Chennai: Twenty one policemen involved in the personal security of Chief Minister Jayalalitha were given transfer orders today, police sources said.
This transferred personnel include 17 Sub-Inspectors and four head constables, the sources said.
The Chief Minister's personal security personnel are generally drawn from various districts in the state.
Though no reason was given for the shake-up, it comes just days after AIADMK expelled Jayalalithaa's former close aide Sasikala and her family members from the party for meddling in the administration.
