Gold worth Rs 1.15 crore has been recovered from under the seat of a plane in Chennai
Nearly 3 kgs of unclaimed gold valued at Rs 1.15 crore was recovered from a national carrier which arrived in Chennai from Dubai today, airport officials said.
Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) officials recovered the gold from underneath one of the seats of the flight, they officials said.
The recovered gold is estimated to be worth Rs 1.15 crore, they said, adding that further investigation was on.
