Chennai airport declared safe after bomb search

Chennai: A call warned that a bomb would explode at the Chennai airport this afternoon.  

After a thorough security check, the bomb search was called off and the airport declared safe.

There was tight security at the airport with intensive checking of baggage and frisking of passengers.
