Chennai: A woman tied the nuptial knot today with her aunt's son, hours after the groom she was supposed to wed was arrested on another woman's complaint that he had deserted her after promise of marriage.
The woman, who got to know that the groom was getting married today, filed a complaint with police alleging he had coerced her into a relationship and promised marriage, but deserted her later.
The man was arrested just hours before the wedding, police said.
