25-year-old Vaishya was stabbed by Venkatachalapathyafter a brief altercation when she was walking towardsthe Perungudi Railway Station late last night after the day'swork. The man stabbed himself after attacking the woman.
Both the woman and the assailant, employed with a leading informationtechnology company, were rushed to government hospitals in Chennai.
