Chennai:
An Emirates Dubai-Kuala Lumpur flight with 131 passengers onboard made an emergency landing at the Anna International airport in Chennai this evening due to a technical snag.
Airport sources said the pilot noticed the snag mid-air and requested clearance for landing, which was given immediately.
The flight (EK 342) landed at around 7 pm, they said.
The 131 passengers onboard were accommodated at the airport and the airlines announced that the flight would leave for Kuala Lumpur after 10 pm, they said.
