Chennai :
A part of false ceiling fell down at the international arrival area in the airport in Chennai today, in continuing series of such incidents.
By 2pm, two pieces of false ceiling fell down at the new international arrival gate number two. However, no one was injured, airport authorities said.
Today's mishap is the latest in a series of more than 40 incidents of collapse of glass panels, granite slabs and false ceiling at the new domestic and international terminals since they were inaugurated in January 2013.
In the previous incident on April 1, a technician was injured when the glass section of a door fell on him.
