Chennai:
The CBI has arrested Additional Director General of Revenue Intelligence, C Rajan, in Chennai.
Mr Rajan was caught red handed receiving Rs 2 lakh bribe and an iPad. CBI officials told NDTV that the deal was worth Rs 8 lakh but the official was caught receiving the first installment of the bribe amount.
The CBI laid the trap to following a tip-off.
Officials said the exact reason why he took the bribe will be announced later in the day.
