Chennai: As many as 327 passengers scheduled to depart by two separate flights to Bengaluru and Mumbai staged a brief protest today at the Chennai airport after the planes they were supposed to travel returned to the bay due to technical snag.
An Air India flight to Bengaluru and a GO Airways flight to Mumbai with 154 and 173 passengers respectively returned to the bay due to technical snag after taxing into the runway, airport officials said.
Air India and GO Airways flights were scheduled to leave at 2.30 pm and 3.30 pm respectively.
The passengers protested the delay at the arrival area before they were accommodated to another flight, they said.
