Chennai: A Dubai-bound Emirates Airways flight from Bangkok made an unscheduled landing in Chennai after one of the passengers onboard suffered a heart attack.
The passenger, identified as Anees (51) suffered attack mid-air following which permission was sought for making an unscheduled landing at the Chennai airport, official sources said.
Subsequently, the plane was allowed to land and Anees was rushed to a city hospital after first aid. He was accompanied by his wife, the sources said.
