Chennai: A woman student in Chennai died after falling from her hostel terrace in the Anna University Campus last night.
The incident occurred around 11 pm on Sunday night. Police say it appears to be a case of accidental fall.
"We've not recovered any suicide note. It looks like an accident as the wall on the terrace was a bit low. We are probing all angles," said an officer.
This incident comes two days after three women students, who were studying naturopathay at SVS College at Kallakurichi near Villupuram in Tamil Nadu, were found dead in a well opposite to their college.
