Jayalalithaa said that orders have been issued to release a sum of Rs Four lakh each from the Disaster Relief Fund to the family members.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa today condoled the death of 25 persons due to rain related incidents last week and announced a compensation of Rs Four lakh to each of the families.
"I express my deep sympathies to the families of 25 persons who lost their lives due to rain related incidents," she said in an official release.
