Chennai: The decomposed body of a 24-year-old woman techie, who had been missing for over a week, was today found close to her office at the SIPCOT IT Park outside Chennai.

"We have sent the body for post-mortem. Only after the report can we say anything. We have registered a case of suspicious death," Vijayakumar, District Superintendent of Police of Kancheepuram told NDTV.
A statement from TCS said Ms Maheshwari was "well liked by her colleagues and was someone her team leader could depend on", adding "this shocking incident is a sad reminder of the safety and security risks women face today."
