Dehradun: In a freak accident in Dehradun on Thursday afternoon, 43-year-old Mahipal Khatri a worker on contract with the A to Z agency lost his life, while 2 others were seriously injured when an AC compressor in their workshop burst.
The repair shop is located within the ONGC campus of Kaulagarh Dehradun. For now the two injured men, Bipin Kumar and Chandrasagar Uniyal have been hospitalised.
"Bipin Kumar and Chandrasagar Uniyal sustained injuries when they were trying to pull out the compressor of an air conditioner at the ONGC's AC repair workshop and it suddenly exploded due to some technical fault," Cantt police station incharge Kamlesh Namburi said.
