12-year-old beaten to death

Patna: A 12-year-old boy was beaten to death following an altercation over playing cricket on a particular pitch on the B N College ground in Patna.

A group of miscreants ordered the boy Akash and his friends to leave claiming they played on the pitch every day and beat him up with bats and wickets leading to his death on Sunday, police sources said.

Akash's brother also sustained minor injuries, the sources said. The boy's father filed an FIR against two persons.
