Kanshi Ram Nagar, Uttar Pradesh:
A 12-year-old boy employed at a mobile shop was brutally beaten to death by his employer and another man, over the alleged theft of a cell phone.
A man called Ravi had accused 12 year old Shivam of stealing his phone after his employer Santosh had sent him to fetch a battery from his house.
Ravi and Santosh thrashed the boy mercilessly to extract a confession.
A badly battered and bruised Shivam was then rushed to a private hospital by his parents where he later succumbed to injuries. Angered by his death a huge mob gathered outside the local police station and pelted stones.
The police have booked Santosh and Ravi for murder.
