Rewari:
A 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a youth at her house at Pali village in the district, police said today.
They said the girl, a student of class VIII, was alone in her house when the youth intruded there, overpowered her and allegedly raped her.
The boy also belonged to the same village, located at a distance of 15 km from here.
After returning home, the girl's parents made a bid to capture the youth, but he threatened to immolate himself and managed to flee.
Police said a case of criminal trespass, rape and criminal intimidation has been registered against the youth, identified as Manoj.
The girl has been medically examined.
