Raipur: A minor girl was allegedly gangraped by three unidentified youths in Uparwara village in Raipur, police said on Sunday.
Additional Superintendent of Police, Raipur, Lal Umed Singh told PTI that the 15-year-old victim had left her house for school on Friday but instead went to a secluded spot with her friend.
According to the complaint filed with the police, three unidentified youth turned up at the place and raped the girl after beating and tying up her friend.
Family members of the victim registered a complaint on Saturday, police said.
In a statement, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh condemned the incident and said the culprits will not be spared.
