Korba, Chhattisgarh: A minor girl has alleged that she was raped by six men, including her friend, over the last three weeks.
Police on Thursday said that Amit Rai, the victim's friend has been arrested while five others are absconding.
According to the 15-year-old victim, a resident of Deepika Police station area, she was returning from school on January 28 when she met Amit.
Afterwards, he sent her to Bilaspur by truck. At Bilaspur, she was allegedly picked up by four others who kept her in confinement and raped her for 10 days.
As she was contemplating suicide on railway tracks, a youth called Sanjay stopped her and took her home and allegedly raped her, they said.
The girl informed the authorities about the rapes on Wednesday, following which Amit was arrested.
