Kolkata: Around 150 families living in a slum at Behala on the outskirts of Kolkata were affected after a fire broke out in the area on Sunday.
Fire spread in Indrajit Palli after a gas cylinder kept in one of the huts blasted, police said adding that the fire is now under control as two fire tenders were pressed into service.
Two of the huts have been completely damaged and several others have been partially damaged in the incident.
