A 16-year-old minor who had left her home in rage after being scolded by her maternal grandmother and reached Bundi railway station was gangraped by four youths, Kota GRP said on Monday.
The victim, a resident of Bhopal, had left her home along with her seven-year-old brother and reached Bundi Railway station after taking a wrong train, they said.
"The minor was waiting for the train at the railway station yesterday when the four youths, all residents of Bundi railway colony, in pretext of taking her and the brother to safer place, took her to a nearby isolated location and took turns to rape her," a GRP personnel said.
"Following the incident, the victim approached GRP check post at Bundi railway station and lodged complaint against the four youths with the GRP police station, Kota," he added.
The four accused Rahul Harijan (20), Sachin Harijan (21), Arun Saini (25) and Sachin Aheer (18) were arrested on Monday by the police.
"A case under section 376(D), 363 of IPC and sections 4,5 of POSCO Act has been lodged against the four youths in this connection," stated a press note released by GRP Ajmer office.
The victim has been sent for the medical examination, police said.
