Hyderabad: Two men have died after a reported gas leak at Dr Reddy's lab in Bollarum in Hyderabad early this morning.
Nitrogen gas allegedly leaked at the manufacturing unit during the 6 pm to 6 am shift.
Dr Reddy's is one of India's leading pharmaceutical companies. A statement issued today said, "The authorities are currently investigating the unfortunate deaths of an employee and a contract staff working at our manufacturing facility in Bollaram, Hyderabad. No other persons were injured. We will advise on further details once the investigations are complete."
