Bangalore:
Two persons who duped banks to the tune of Rs 5.53 crore by availing housing loans after submitting fake documents have been arrested.
According to police, Shankar (46) and Srinath (33) produced fake documents of over eight sites and procured loans from various banks.
Police also seized computer, stamp paper manufacturing machines and fake seals.
They were arrested on December 30 from Kengeri.
