200 take ill for suspected food poisoning, 62 hospitalised

Madikeri, Karnataka: About 200 people were taken ill and 62 of them including the bride were hospitalised for symptoms of food poisoning at Madikeri and Somwarpet after they had feast at a marriage, the police said.
   
Doctors said the people fell sick after having food at a wedding at Somwarpet on the night of January 30.
  
While eight people, including the bride, were hospitalised at Madikeri, 54 others were admitted to a hospital at Somwarpet, sources said.
  
Doctors at the hospitals said the condition of those hospitalised was out of danger.
