Nandgaon:
A 21-year-old man has alleged he was thrown out of the Mumai-Nagpur Sevagram Express at the Nandgaon railway station by a ticket collector after an altercation.
Swapnil Borse, who recently underwent a by-pass surgery at a hospital in Nashik, on Monday visited the hospital for a routine check-up and was returning to his home at Sakora by the Sevagram Express.
The train reached the Nandgaon railway station at 9:30 pm, when he had an altercation with the Ticket Collector, who allegedly threw him out of the S-4 reserve bogie, he told reporters.
Prashant Junnare, who is treating Swapnil, said he has received head injuries and was being treated.
Meanwhile, Nandgaon Station Manager L G Bhalerao said Borse was travelling in the S-4 reserve bogie on an ordinary ticket and had an altercation with the Ticket Collector over the issue.
Bhalerao said he did not know whether the Ticket Collector threw him out of the train or he fell after losing his balance as the Sevagram Express stops at Nandgaon for just two minutes.
Central Railway officials at Chalisgaon were enquiring into the incident, railway officials in Nashik said.
