Jodhpur:
Three persons, including an eight-year-old girl, were killed and 12 injured when a wall collapsed on two mud houses in Jodhpur, police said today.
"We have so far recovered three bodies and have rushed some 12 injured people, including women, to hospital," Nagauri Gate SHO Nitin Dave said.
The rampart wall, 25 to 30-ft long, caved in at around 3 pm yesterday in Udaimandir Asan locality, the SHO said.
The debris fell on two mud houses burying all their occupants, Dave said.
"An eight-year-old girl was among those killed," he said.
Army personnel assisted in rescue operations which continued late into the night amid rains.
