3 engineers killed, 4 injured in collision

Bareilly: Three engineers were killed and four others injured when a van rammed into a tractor trolley in Jalalabad area, police said here on Monday.

The incident occurred near Aitbara village on Sunday when the van in which the seven engineers were travelling rammed into the stationary tractor trolley killing Abhiraj Singh on the spot, police said.

The injured including Bhramdev Dwiwedi, Sandeep Singh, Satyendra Singh, Vipin Kumar, Akash Kumar and Vikas have been admitted to a private hospital, police said.

Of the six injured, Bhramdev and Satyendra succumbed to injuries last evening, they said. The mishap occurred when the engineers were returning from a marriage.
