Vadodara: Four persons have been arrested on charges of setting ablaze a eunuch in the city, the police said today.
Salma Masi was set ablaze by her own family members who wanted her to leave the city and settle in Mumbai or Delhi and do begging for a livelihood, police sources said. They added that her family members claimed Vadodara-Bharuch to be their "territory" and wanted her to be out of that.
At the time of being admitted to the hospital, on March 5, Salma Masi had said she had received burn injuries while preparing tea on a stove.
