After a gap of nearly a month, a leopard entered a human habitatino at Valparai in the district and took away a few hens from a house in the early hours of today.
The feline entered the town at around 4 AM and took away four chickens from a house, police said.
The sudden appearance of the leopard triggered panic among the public, they said.
