40 Bengal pilgrims injured as bus overturns

Bhabhua, West Bengal: Around 40 pilgrims from West Bengal were injured on Saturday as the bus in which they were travelling overturned on NH-2 near Karmnasha village in Bihar's Kaimur district, police sources said.

The mishap took place as the driver lost control of the ill-fated bus which overturned injuring 40 pilgrims, the sources said.

The injured persons were taken to a Sub-Divisional hospital at Mohania, they said, adding that all pilgrims hailed from West Bengal.

The pilgrims were on their way back from Varanasi after visiting religious places in Varanasi, the sources added.
