Police recovered 45 detonators from a house in a locality in Bihar's Bhagalpur.

The police today recovered 45 detonators from a house in a locality under Adampur Police Station area in Bihar's Bhagalpur even as a minor boy sustained injuries while fiddling with one of the detonators, a police officer said.
Acting on a tip off, the police raided the house of Dilip Kumar Mandal and seized 45 detonators, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Vivek Kumar said.
Mandal escaped ahead of the police raid, he said adding, a case has been registered against him under the Arms Act and a probe was on to find out from where he had brought the explosives and the purpose behind it.
Meanwhile, a minor boy Kandarv Kumar, son of Mandal's tenant Manoj Kumar Jha, sustained injuries while trying to fiddle with one of the detonators, Kumar said.
The injured boy has been admitted to a hospital for treatment, he added.
