Kota (Rajasthan):
Five persons are feared to have died after inhaling poisonous gas, as they got down in a well in Modak area of the district, police said.
"Jailbhai in Dhabadhe area got down into the his factory well to take out water booster (water pumping motar) deep from the well. When he did not return for some time, four more persons, reportedly his relatives, went down," said a senior police officer.
The rescue operation is still on as the none of the five has been rescued from the well.
Nenuram Meena, an ASI of Modak police station, also went down into the well to rescue other five but he was pulled out as he felt suffocated and fainted later.
He was immediately referred to Jhalawar government hospital.
