Indore: With a 35-year-old woman today testing positive for the swine flu, the number of people infected by the H1N1 virus in Indore in the new year has reached six, including the four persons who died.
The woman, hailing from Harda district, was admitted to a private hospital on January 16. Another swine flu patient from Harda was already admitted in the same hospital, said Dr G L Sodhi, district in-charge of integrated disease surveillance project.
Last year, 10 persons had tested positive for swine flu in Indore and six of them succumbed to the disease, Mr Sodhi said.
