Rescue work is still on at Bellary in Karnataka after an under-construction building collapsed on Tuesday night onto a neighbouring hostel. Workers are still believed to be trapped inside. Seven bodies have been recovered so far. Three people have been brought out alive.
The rescue work went on through the night - with some positive results. Six people, including a nine year old child, were pulled free from the wreckage of this building and were treated in hospital. But others did not escape with their lives.
