Medininagar, Jharkhand:
A man who allegedly practised witchcraft was killed and his wife seriously injured when a rival attacked them at Chunga Basidih village in Jharkhand's Palamau district, police said today.
Shivraj Oraon (65) and wife Samudri Devi (55) were at home last night when their rival Dasrath Oraon along with two associates raided their home and attacked them with sharp weapons.
Shivraj was killed on the spot and his wife is battling for life at the hospital, the police said. The police filed an FIR against Dasrath and the two others in connection with the incident. All of them were absconding.
