New Delhi:
A three-old boy who was allegedly abducted from Delhi by two men was rescued from Haridwar in Uttarakhand on Monday evening, police said.
"The boy, Eeshu, has been recovered from a place at Haridwar," a Delhi Police official told IANS, declining to give further details on investigation. The boy was being brought back to Delhi.
His mother, 29-year-old Mohi, was strangled to death by the two accused who barged into their house in New Ashok Nagar area in east Delhi on Saturday morning. They also abducted the child. Mohi's maid Beena, who was present at the house, had witnessed the incident.
Police has questioned Mohi's husband and Beena in connection with the case.
