Advocates dismissed for indecent behaviour in court premises

Indore: The Madhya Pradesh government has dismissed from service two government advocates including a woman for "indecent behaviour" in court premises.

Official sources said Assistant District Public Prosecution officer Ramvir Singh Jatav and Gautam Parmar were charged with indulging in indecent behaviour, beating and violating orders of senior officers, following which they have been dismissed by the Home Department.

They said earlier Jatav and Parmar were friends but when the latter turned down his marriage proposal, a dispute began between the two and this often ended in beatings.

Sources said that because of the duo's behaviour, the image of the prosecution branch was being damaged.
