Ahmedabad:
Income Tax officials today seized Rs 1.15 crore "undisclosed" cash during a search in the premises of a group engaged in brick manufacturing, in the city and Gandhinagar.
The operation was conducted at 20 premises of the group, which has admitted to having undisclosed income of Rs 18.98 crore, IT officials said.
According to the officials, a large volume of incriminating documents indicating unaccounted transactions of the group have been seized and were being analysed.
The operations would continue, they said.
