New Delhi: Air India is introducing a daily direct flight to Dehradun from March 28, when the summer schedule comes into effect.
The national carrier will be operating the flight with a 46-seater ATR aircraft, which will depart Delhi at 10.10 am and reach Dehradun at 11.10 am. On its return leg, the flight will take off from Dehradun at 11.35 am and reach Delhi at 12.35 am.
"The timing of the flight had been kept as such, that on its arrival at Delhi, passengers have the options of taking connecting flights to all metros like Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Thiruvananthapuram, Cochin and Chennai and also to tourist places like Ooty, Kodaikanal and Tirupati," an Air India spokesperson said.
