Jaipur:
A four-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted and was deserted by an unknown person in bushes at Mandan village in Alwar district, police said.
Seriously wounded child was referred to Jaipur's SMS hospital, they said.
The victim was picked up from the roadside shelter by a man while her parents, daily wage labourers had gone out to look for work in a nearby area around 3:30 pm on March 4, the police said.
Later, the parents found the child near the bushes with multiple injuries and bleeding, they said.
The victim was taken at Behror hospital from where she was referred to Jaipur on March 4, police added.
An FIR was lodged under various sections of IPC and POCSO against the accused who is yet to be traced, they said.
