Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh: Five persons were killed and another injured when a SUV rammed into a stationary truck in Gambhirpur area in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday when the SUV lost control and rammed into the truck while returning from Jaunpur.
Those killed were identified as Rahman (25), Surtaj (26), Sarfaraz (28), Kasim (24) and Gulzar (25).
The injured was rushed to a hospital, where his condition was stated to be critical.
The bodies of the victims have been sent for post-mortem.
