Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh: An eight-year-old girl was killed in Bahraich in Uttar Pradesh in an attack by a leopard near Katarniaghat wildlife sanctuary, forest department officials said today.
Reshma was attacked by a leopard on Sunday while she was sleeping in the courtyard of her house located on the outskirts of the Katarniaghat sanctuary, 85 kilometres from Bahraich, they said.
The body was later recovered from the forest, the officials added.
