Bangalore: In swift action, city police cracked a murder case within a few hours of its occurrence and arrested five allegedly involved in the incident.
The five accused: Ravi (30), Madappa (28), Veerabhadra (28), Rajaram (29) and Shiva (25), working in a small hotel were arrested a few hours after they murdered Krishna (25), a native of Nanjangud who used to trouble them for money on Sunday night, police said.
The five threw chilli powder into Krishna's eyes, beat him with a wooden log and later crushed his head with a gas cylinder, they said.
