Bank employee arrested for running sex racket

Hyderabad: Police have arrested three persons including an HSBC Bank employee for allegedly organising a sex racket.

P Chandrasekhar, a software developer with HSBC at Madhapur branch in Hyderabad, a local artist V Gopi and another person also identified as Gopi who rented his house for running the flesh trade besides four commercial sex workers were taken into custody, Banjara Hills ACP R Ravinder Reddy said.

Chandrasekhar and Gopi were running the sex racket for the past two years in the city, the police officer said adding the duo would give mobile phone number on 'Hyderabad Escorts' website and charged Rs 3,000 to Rs 5,000 for allegedly supplying the sex workers.

The duo along with the four sex workers were caught from a house in Krishna Nagar late on Tuesday night. The accused were sent to judicial remand while the sex workers who belong to Kolkata, Rajahmundry in East Godavari district and Vijayawada were sent to rescue home.

Chandrasekhar hailing from Visakhapatnam who was presently staying at a rented house in Kukatpally took help from Gopi, a native of Khammam district, for allegedly arranging sex workers, another police officer said.
