Imphal:
A powerful bomb exploded in a village in Imphal East district of Manipur, officials said on Tuesday.
Suspected militants hurled the bomb at the house of I Kerani Singh at Pungdongbam Awang village, about 40 kms from here yesterday night, they said, adding, no casualty was reported.
They said monetary demand by militants from Singh could be the reason for the attack.
