Jammu: A 12-year old boy was injured when a leopard attacked him in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said today.
The minor, identified as Akshay Kumar, was attacked by the leopard last evening near his house, which is close to a forest area in Udhyanpur belt, police officials said.
Locals rushed to the spot after hearing his cries, following which he was taken to the hospital, police adding, the animal escaped when people came to the minor's rescue.
