Noida: The Noida police on Wednesday arrested a BPO employee for allegedly killing a female co-worker.
The victim, 23-year-old Pooja Bhatia, worked at the Sparsh Intelnet call centre and had gone out to play Holi with her colleagues on March 1. She was reported missing since then.
Her family filed a complaint against her boss, Baljeet Singh, on March 3 and claimed he had abducted her.
Baljeet later confessed to killing Pooja and dumping her body near Faridabad.
Police also said that Pooja's body was recovered by the Faridabad police from Bhatkal Lake in Surajkund on March 2 and the postmortem revealed that she died due to drowning.
