Brahmapura: Three Children Drown in Pond

Balasore: Three children of a family drowned while they were taking bath in a pond at Brahmapura in Balasore district today, police said.

The incident took place when two boys aged around 10 years and a girl (12), who belonged to the same family, slipped into deep water while they were taking bath in the pond, they said.

Hearing their screams, some villagers rushed to rescue them but failed, police said, adding that villagers later fished out three bodies from the pond.
