New Delhi:
A 25-year-old man died in New Delhi on Wednesday after he fell from a staircase in east Delhi while trying to escape after an alleged burglary, police said.
The incident took place in Dharampura in Gandhi Nagar at around 9 am and the deceased has been identified as Sunny.
Sunny was chased by public after he was caught allegedly stealing valuables from a house. He fell from the staircase while trying to escape from the scene.
He was rushed to Swami Dayanand Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
