Mumbai: The Anne Besant road in front of old passport office in Worli, Mumbai caved in on Wednesday causing a 20 ft wide, 15 ft deep hole in the middle of the road.
Traffic on the road has been diverted and it is being estimated that it will take atleast 2-3 months for it to open to traffic.
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said that storm water drain has been affected in the area.
The Anne Besant road was used as an approach to the Bandra-Worli sea link.
